Cooking Class in Tuscany with Optional Pisa from Florence
After a 75-minute drive from Florence, we'll arrive in the countryside just east of Lucca, in the Montecarlo wine region. Fattoria Carmignani is a family-run boutique winery, a simple but classic country estate that has been producing quality wines with love for decades. The Carmignani family has been winemakers in this area since 1386.
The cooking lesson is hands-on and lasts 3 hours. It will be followed by a lunch (approx. 2 hours) of the dishes you've prepared. A guided tasting of seven of the estate’s wines will accompany the meal. A walk through the vineyards with the winemaker completes the experience.
Transportation is included and we also offer the option of a brief stop in Pisa (about a 30-minute drive from the winery) at the end of the day, if you wish (no additional cost). In either case (with or without Pisa), the drive back to Florence lasts about 75 minutes.
Vegan and vegetarian options are available. Food intolerances can be accommodated.
